Privacy Policy

iTextwise runs entirely inside your web browser. The text you type is rewritten on your own device — it is not uploaded to us, stored on our servers, or used to train any model. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for personal information to use the tool.

We do not collect the content you paste or rewrite, your name, your email address, or any account credentials, because the core rewriting feature never sends your text off your device. There is nothing for us to see or keep.

To make the app convenient, some information is saved locally in your browser's storage (localStorage). This includes:

• Your recent rewrites, so you can revisit and restore them (your "history").
• Your light or dark theme preference.

This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be removed at any time by clearing your history in the app or clearing your browser's site data.

If an optional AI-powered rewrite mode is enabled, the text you submit for that specific request may be sent to a trusted third-party AI provider solely to generate the result. In that case, the provider's own privacy terms also apply. The built-in engine does not use any third-party service.

The core iTextwise experience does not set advertising cookies or track you across the web. If a site operator adds privacy-friendly analytics to their deployment, it should be disclosed here by that operator.

iTextwise is a general-purpose writing tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
