Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms explain the ground rules for using iTextwise. By using the app, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using iTextwise (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What iTextwise does
iTextwise is a writing tool that rewrites text you provide into a tone you select. The core engine runs in your browser. The Service is provided to help you adjust the tone, clarity and structure of your writing — it does not guarantee any particular outcome.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use iTextwise to:
- Create content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringes others' rights.
- Impersonate a person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for harm, or overload the Service.
4. Your content
You retain full ownership of the text you enter and the rewritten output. Because rewriting happens on your device, we do not claim any rights over your content. You are responsible for reviewing and for how you use any output.
5. Review your results
Automated rewrites can miss context or subtly change meaning. Always review the output before you send, publish or submit it. You are solely responsible for the final text you choose to use.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iTextwise and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
8. Changes to the Service and terms
We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these terms, at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
